“NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 is one of the finest musical theater productions I’ve ever witnessed. […] The music direction approaches perfection. […] These actors don’t just sing beautifully – they truly inhabit the characters. […] You can feel the joy of the players performing songs they clearly love. [...] A tip of the ushanka (Russian fur hat) to musical director Matt Deitchman and conductor/pianist Charlotte Rivard-Hoster.”
-Marc Vitali, PBS / WTTW
“Under the music direction of Matt Deitchman the GREAT COMET ensemble delivers some of the most stunning harmonies I’ve heard in a long time. For musical theater lovers that want to hear a complicated score flawlessly performed, this is the ticket.”
